How to cook Non-fry Agedashi Tofu
This recipe comes from Agedashi Tofu
This one tells you non-fry cooking way. It’s easy to clean.
Sometimes, we are really busy and feel tired for cleaning the used oil after cooking, you know.
Of course! the taste is as well as the original one.
Please enjoy Agedashi Tofu for Everyone.
Tofu (Momen Tofu:木綿豆腐) : 300g
ーFor Soaking sauceー
Soy sauce: 1and 1/2tbsp
Potato starch: 3tbsp
Daikon(Japanese radish) ground: about 50g
Ginger ground: about 10g
Leeks minced: about 10g
At first, we should drain the Tofu.
Wrap the Tofu by kitchen paper, and wait for 20~30min.
Wrap the Tofu by kitchen paper, and cook in microwave 600W for 2min.
Set aside until they are cool.
Ground the Daikon and ginger.
Mince the leeks.
Place the ingredients for the soaking sauce in a hotpot, and cook on the medium until just boiled.
After boiled, Turn off the heat. Set aside.
Just before serving,
Drain well agin by kitchen paper.
Cut the Tofu into 6pieces. Coat with the potato starch.
Place the oil in a frying pan until it’s about 1cm layer.
Heat on the low. When it’s getting hot, turn up to the medium.
Place the Tofu apart each other. And cook until they are crisp and brown.
When one dimension of the Tofu get fried, turn around ,and cook other dimensions.
After cooking Tofu, Transfer to a eating plate.
Pour the mixed dashi on the Tofu.
Sprinkle the seasonings.
